Practice Areas
Metal-Free White Fillings
We offer white (mercury-free) composite fillings. A composite filling is generally a mixture of glass or quartz that produces a tooth-colored filling that bonds directly to your tooth. Composite fillings are used to fill cavities, replace old fillings, or restore broken teeth. Composite fillings allow us to save a greater portion of your tooth and there’s no unpleasant metal color bleeding through like you get with traditional fillings.
Dental Hygiene Appointments
Routine dental cleanings are essential for preventing cavities and gum disease and maintaining optimal oral health. We’ll remove the plaque and tartar that cause decay and gum disease. Then we’ll polish your teeth so your smile looks, feels, and smells fresh. Schedule your next checkup today.
Oral Cancer
During your routine dental visit, Dr. Perrott will examine your mouth and screen for oral cancer or precancerous conditions. The goal of these screenings is to identify oral cancer as soon as possible because it’s easier to treat the earlier you spot it.
Gum Disease Treatment
If your gums bleed when you eat, brush, or floss, it might be a sign of gum disease. Another sign of gum disease is receding gums, which can be identified if your teeth look like they’re growing larger. We feature effective treatments to combat all stages of gum disease.
Root Canal Therapy
This procedure is used to treat an infection in the tooth’s pulp, which consists of the nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue inside the core of your tooth. During root canal therapy, Dr. Perrott will make a small hole to remove the infected tissue and then restore the tooth’s structure using a dental crown.
Tooth Extractions
If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, Dr. Perrott might recommend extracting it. There are multiple other reasons people need tooth extractions, including when the tooth is very loose, when the tooth is blocking other teeth from growing in, or when your wisdom teeth become crowded or impacted.
Dental Emergencies
Call our office right away if you’re experiencing severe pain due to an ongoing dental condition or physical trauma. Whether your tooth has been knocked out, forced out of position, loosened, or fractured, it’s essential to contact us immediately so we can make sure you the get necessary treatment to preserve your smile.
Bad Breath: Causes, Treatment, & Prevention
Halitosis, also known as bad breath, is caused by a number of factors. It can also be a sign that you’re suffering from gum disease, which threatens the health of your smile. We feature effective treatments for bad breath as well as counseling on what you can do to help prevent it.
Senior & Children’s Dentistry
We strive to make your family’s dental care a friendly, helpful and pain free experience. Healthy teeth are essential for maintaining a healthy diet to promote overall development. One of the best ways to promote long term dental health is to start examinations and care at an early age and track development from primary to adult teeth.
